Overview

Shaper Origin is a handheld CNC router that has the familiar form factor of a traditional router, with the precision of high-end CNC machine. You steer Origin following the path on-screen, while it makes small “auto corrections” within a 1/2” range, leaving you with perfect results. Cutting a joinery, profiles or patterns, and engraving for signage can all be handled directly on-tool, no programming required. It also works with almost any design software you use.

Shaper Studio is a 2D design tool that helps people create digital designs. It’s intended to be easy to use, even for people who are new to digital design. Shaper Studio is for woodworkers who are familiar with traditional making techniques but want to try digital design, Shaper Studio is web based and runs on any device with a web browser.. Shaper Studio allows you to design, prepare for cutting and preview a design.
